Wilson’s Clearing is our smallest site at 1.5 acres. However, this smaller site offers big adventure. It is located at one of the entry points to the Ottawa Region’s Marlborough Forest. The site gives you direct access to the forest and its 23,000 acres.
Wilson’s Clearing is located just outside the hamlet of Dwyer Hill, Ontario. This is a very unique Lochán-Trail Lodging site as it sits only 30 minutes from Ottawa, our Nation’s Capital. Enjoy all the city has to offer without compromising your outdoor experience. This site gives you direct access to the Marlborough Forest, a large tract of land owned by the City of Ottawa. The forest is a diverse ecosystem of approximately 23000 acres of wetlands, wildlife fields, natural forests, and plantations. An impressive network of trails including the Rideau Trail System and the Cedar Grove Trail will surely give our hikers, rough county cyclists, and power sport enthusiasts lots to enjoy.
This site is our smallest property with a land area of 1.5 acres. Despite the site being smaller, it caught our attention due to the amazing opportunity to place our site users at a Marlborough Forest entrance. The site gives plenty of room to setup your RV, have a campfire, play some horseshoes, and enjoy the RV lifestyle.
