This site is located less than half an hour over the Ontario/Quebec border just east of Renfrew Ontario. If your route takes you along the 301, the provincial border crossing is a point of interest of its own. As you travel over the Ottawa River you will be travelling over a large hydro dam, spring and early summer bring higher water levels that enhance the visual experience of this dam. Timber’s Lodge sits within five minutes of the village Otter Lake. This community is predominantly bilingual and will provide the basic essentials during your stay. If you seek more than basic essentials, Renfrew, Arnprior, and Gatineau are all less than an hour away. Ottawa, our Nations Capital is located just over an hour from the site. The area has many lakes to explore, and the well known Picanoc River is near by to expand your kayaking and canoeing adventures.
